Join the pilot

The main intake begins in November 2026. Schools interested in beginning later may still apply, and we will consider the timing with them individually.

Before you apply

Newsling is available for Grades 5–12 across school boards, with editions tailored to Grades 5–6, 7–8 and 9–12. Schools begin with at least one complete grade.

  • Approximately 20 minutes at the beginning of each school day
  • A class teacher, one shared screen, reliable internet and student notebooks
  • About two minutes of teacher preparation before each session
  • A two-hour introductory session provided by The Teacher Foundation
  • Feedback twice a month and participation in agreed evaluation activity
  • No programme or teacher-training charges during the current pilot

Your School

We’re accepting school applications on a rolling basis. Apply to bring Newsling to your school; after reviewing your application, we’ll confirm the participating grades and agree an onboarding date with you.
